Christopher Robert "Chris" Evans (born June 13, 1981) is an American actor. Most known for his superhero roles as Johnny Storm / Human Torch in Fantastic Four (2005) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007), and Steve Rogers / Captain America in Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) and Marvel's The Avengers (2012). He will reprise his role as Captain America in the upcoming films Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and The Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015).
